The length of the inner tread is increased by 12 mm (for closed shoes) and 6 mm (for open shoes), which is required for healthy growth and development of the feet.
The easiest way to determine the length of the foot is to draw the outline of the foot on a blank piece of paper (let the child stand). Choose the size that exactly or most closely matches the measured foot length in centimeters.
